What We Need From You

Please include the following (as sequenced below) in your PDF:

- A short biography (up to 150 words).
- A sample of previous work. You may submit a total of 10 - 15 images from a maximum of one to three previous ‘bodies’ of work showing your commitment to the medium and ability as a visual storyteller. Please include the project's title/dates.
- Overview of the project you intend to develop during the six-month mentorship, including any working title (one to three sentences).
- Description of your proposed project. Your response should outline the project’s intention, target audience, and potential outcomes (up to 300 words).
- Personal statement. What do you hope to gain from the mentoring process? Please share some thoughts on how working with an artist-mentor might inform and impact your practice at this stage of your creative career. (150-300 words).
- Connection to theme. What is your personal or professional relationship to the theme Cultivating Diasporic Futures: Uprooting Hate? (up to 150 words).

All applications will be reviewed by Jacqueline Ennis-Cole, the project lead coordinator (Four Corners Curator in Residence 1 September - 30 November 2026), supported by a selection panel of three including the programme’s curatorial advisor, Renée Mussai, independent curator, writer & scholar.
